Imagine your life as a story…. What’s the current chapter of your life? What meaning do you make of the plot tensions, and how might you begin to navigate them? Who’s writing your script?

Explore these and other perspective-bending questions in a series of writing exercises designed to help people who feel stuck – in a dead-end job, relationship, or stage of life – get a fresh outlook on a familiar story….their own.
Using research-inspired techniques, I help people imagine themselves as the star of their own stories with the power to interpret, transform, and reclaim their personal narratives through choice and voice.
Participants will write about themselves in the third person as they explore their character arc, identify supporting characters, and reframe challenging plotlines as opportunities to strengthen their character and create realistic and redefined “happy endings.”
One need not be a “good writer” to participate. Basic literacy and a sense of adventure is all that’s required.
